DOWNTOWN MASTERPLAN 2020:
Gillespie Park is within the city of Sarasota’s Downtown Master Plan 2020 boundaries. The plan was authored by Andres Duany of the world renowned architecture and planning firm DPZ from Miami. Mr. Duany built upon the John Nolen city of Sarasota masterplan of 1924.
